He is the fifth letter of the Semitic abjads, including Arabic hāʾ ه‎, Aramaic hē 𐡄, Hebrew hē ה‎, Phoenician hē 𐤄, and Syriac hē ܗ. Its sound value is the voiceless glottal fricative ([h]).
